He got his name from a decorator where he was living with Rosie and Barrie Alger-Street. Helping out, as usual, with the painting, or paper-stripping. At least, that's what Looney called it! Climbing ladders and getting into all sorts of scrapes was what he seemed to be born for. Anyway, Looney was one of those for whom life hadn't gone too well in the early months, and Rosie and Barrie gave him a home.
